Lemonade World Travel was started in 2025 by Kristina Bishop. Kristina has spent her career working and living internationally, mostly in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. She started her career in the Peace Corps in South Africa.  She has a BA in International Studies and an MA and PhD in Geography. She taught geography at the University of Arizona for a decade and during that time ran study abroad programs to South Africa and Eswatini.  She moved to the Washington DC region to work as a Senior Advisor with USAID in 2016. Kristina has two amazing daughters, a great husband, four cats, and about 60,000 honey bees (give or take) in her backyard hives. She is also a serious crafter and potter.

She would love to help you plan your dream trip! She has visited, lived or worked in 51 countries so odds are she has some good suggestions for off the beaten path things to see! She would love to help educational institutions or small groups with educationally focused tours or specialized small group or individual tours around arts, crafts and culture. 

She specializes in Africa, Europe, Caribbean, the American Southwest and the American Mid-Atlantic but is happy to help you plan a trip, short or long, simple or complex, to anywhere in the world!
